The administrators, teachers, and staff of WOPS certainly miss seeing all of our precious students.  We are trying to connect with them and maintain continuity of education in any way we can: Zoom, email, hard copy packets, etc.  We will have packets available Monday, March 30th that will contain work for two more weeks.  Right now our scheduled return date is April 6, but that could change and we want to be prepared.  The packets will be at the primary entrance.

Several people have asked when our chocolate from our fundraiser will be delivered.  In order to comply with the voluntary stay at home order issued by Mayor Andy Mack of Longview, we will not have the chocolate delivered or picked up until it is safe to do so.  Our customers will get their chocolate but I cannot say when that will be just yet.

If you have a child who will be entering Pre-K (age 4 by September 1st) or kindergarten (age 5 by September 1st) please complete a “Pre-K – Kindergarten Round-Up” packet.  The packets are available for pick up in front of our administration building or on our website at www.woisd.net. If you cannot return the packet but intend to enroll, please notify me at [email protected].  The data we receive from “Round-Up” is essential for planning for staffing and building use.
