Mrs. McFall and her fifth grade students gave our Pre-K students a very special gift this year, the “gift of reading.” The students worked in groups to make “ABC” books and buy books and pajamas for all of our Pre-K students. Our students were surprised and excited to receive gifts from their older friends. Thank you fifth graders! This is service learning at its best. – Claire Koonce

Title 1 School
White Oak ISD is a Title 1 school. We value the bond between parent and school. Because of that collaboration, we want to keep parents informed on the educational front. The Parental Involvement Newsletter for December 2014 is linked HERE. Region 16 is the official site for the parent newsletter and meets Title 1 requirements.
Thank you for your active participation in your child’s education here at White Oak ISD.
Car Tags REQUIRED for Car Pickup
Parents, this is just a reminder that you MUST HAVE a White Oak Car Tag hanging in your vehicle in order to pick up your child(ren) via the Car Pickup Line. This safety protocol is for the protection of our students, your children, and we will continue to be diligent with its enforcement. If you do not have a car tag or if you have lost your car tag, you will need to come inside the building to sign out the student and/or pick up another tag. They are available in the office. Thank you for working together with us to keep our boys and girls safe.
