Pep rallies are typically held on Friday afternoons at 3:00 in the High School gym.  Pep rally procedures are as follows:

• You MUST send a note to your child’s teacher EACH WEEK if you plan to check your child out early to attend the pep rally.
• Only students who have a note will be sent to the cafeteria at 2:30.
• Adults will enter through the Intermediate doors and sign their student out in the cafeteria.
• Students must be accompanied by an adult at the pep rally.

In order to relieve the bottleneck of traffic at Roughneck Stadium Drive, the blacktop parking lot located behind the Middle School will be open for thru traffic only until 7:55 a.m. There will be no parking allowed in the lot, but cars can drive thru until 7:55 when the band begins practice. Thank you for working together to accommodate everyone’s needs.

White Oak ISD would like to inform parents and employees that because of shortened high school class periods, the White Oak High School Roughneck Band will be conducting morning marching practice on the blacktop parking lot located directly behind the Middle School Building. Please consider rerouting your morning drop-off  path by coming down White Oak Road and using Roughneck Drive that passes by the high school football stadium. This is a one-way street, so be sure to allow a little extra time to accommodate any initial congestion.
