Homecoming Early Release

Homecoming is this Friday, October 16th, and hundreds of White Oak Exes will be coming home for this celebration. Because of the increased numbers of attendees to the Pep Rally, its location has been changed to take place at the Roughneck Stadium. The Pep Rally is scheduled to begin at 2:30. In order to avoid bus traffic and parent pick-up traffic congestion, the elementary campuses, Primary and Intermediate ONLY, will have an Early Release time.

We will follow this time schedule on Friday, Oct. 16th:

Car Pick-up Release 1:15

Buses will Run at 1:30

 

Homecoming Football Tickets Pre-Sale

Screen Shot 2015-09-30 at 2.57.19 PMYou will able to purchase general admission student and adult tickets for the Homecoming football game at the White Oak Intermediate office. Tickets will be available Wednesday and Thursday, October 14th and 15th, from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. and on Friday, October 16th until Noon. Student tickets are $3.00 and Adult tickets are $5.00.

TICKETS ARE ALSO AVAILABLE AT THE HIGH SCHOOL OFFICE.

Early Release Reminder

White Oak ISD has scheduled 4 early release days this year to accommodate staff training. Primary students will be released at 11:30. Bus transportation will be provided as usual.

These dates are not on the district calendar so please make note of them.

Picture Day Reminder

Your student will be bringing home an order form today.  You have two options when ordering pictures.  You can turn in the paper order form OR you can order online.  To order online, visit:

mylifetouch.com

From there, you will need to enter our school’s Picture Day ID along with your student’s name, as pictured below.

Fall picture day will be Wednesday, September 30th. Every student will have his/her picture taken on this day, even if you do not plan to purchase a package.  These are the pictures that will be used in the school yearbook.

Payment envelopes will be sent home on Monday, Sept. 29th if you choose to purchase pictures.

Notice of Parking Lot Closure to Through Traffic

In order to give the marching band the time they need to learn their competition drill, we will be blocking off the band practice lot at 7:45 am beginning Monday, September 28th. Parents that want to walk their student to the school will need to park in one of the two parking lots next to the elementary building on the west side.

Beginning Monday, September 28th, there will be no through traffic in the band parking lot and/or the parking lot directly behind the Middle School. This adjustment will remain in place until further notice.
