There are some great things happening in the Valley of the Roughnecks!

In athletic news:
– The cross country team leaves for the state competition in Round Rock this weekend.
– The volleyball team has an Area Play-off Game against Mt. Vernon tomorrow evening in Lindale at 6:00 pm.
– Friday night our football team plays New Boston for Senior Night at 7:30 pm.
– The first football playoff game is scheduled for Thursday, November 10th, against Mt. Vernon. It will be held in Gilmer at 7:00 pm.

– Friday, November 11th, the district will host a Veteran’s Day Luncheon in the WOHS Cafeteria at 11:45 am.
– Friday, November 18th, the district will host a Thanksgiving Luncheon for senior citizens in the WOHS Cafeteria at 12:30 pm.
