We will have no school on Monday, January 18th, in honor of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Day. Students will return to school on Tuesday, January 19th.
Early Release Reminder
Evacuation Drill

There will be a District Wide Evacuation Drill at 9:00 on Monday morning. Students will practice loading buses but we WILL NOT be leaving campus, like we would in an actual emergency.
Food Drive

We are currently having a food drive through November 20th to aide the White Oak TAP (Temporary Assistance Program.) Currently the food bank needs nonperishable items including meat products, fruit, pasta, spaghetti sauce, macaroni and cheese, soup, beans and rice. They currently have plenty of green beans and corn. As an incentive for student participation, the glass in each grade level that brings the most items will have an extra recess! Please help us stock the food bank for the benefit of White Oak families as the holidays are fast approaching. Thank you!
Early Release Reminder
White Oak ISD has scheduled 4 early release days this year to accommodate staff training. Primary students will be released at 11:30. Bus transportation will be provided as usual.
These dates are not on the district calendar so please make note of them.
